DCA | QUARANTINE QUEEN
Quarantine Queen is an EP written by the singer-songwriter, choreographer and creative director Todrick Hall. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we began working to encompass the sentiments of the new society and the new "pop culture" effecting our community during the lockdown. The song "Rent" resonated with a lot of listeners since Los Angeles already had a rent control issue prior to the pandemic. "F*** The Rent" was generally a phrase that gave people some sense of reality of what IS and IS NOT possible during this time. The phrase became a stress reliever. Being one of the producers and the primary composer on this particular song resonated with me and my family as well.
